Providing Answers & Clarification

Campaign Goal

The Trade Risk Guaranty Educational Video Series started in December 2017 and continues today. The topic for each video is selected by analyzing the most searched topics within the international trade industry and determining which ones lack a straight forward and simple answer. In some cases, topics are selected based on the most frequently answered questions handled by the TRG team. Each video is kept under 5 mins in order to make them easy to watch and quick to binge.

The creation and execution of this video series is a ‘pet’ project of Meredith’s within the company. She quickly assessed that TRG was in need of quality video content and that the international trade industry is filled with over complicated content that an average importer has trouble understanding. In order to fill this niche, Meredith decided to learn a new skill and create simple motion graphic videos answering one topic at a time. Therefore, in the creation of these videos, she is responsible for every aspect of the content. Meredith conducts thorough research on the topic, writes a script, handles recording and editing the voice over, story boarding the visuals, creating the custom vector art, selecting background music, and editing/animating the whole thing together for a final video. Once the video is completed, she is also responsible for publishing the final video on YouTube, publishing the corresponding blog post, and taking care of the back-end SEO through YouTube.

In order to further the primary mission of becoming knowledge leaders in the international trade industry, the creation of short, educational video content became a priority. Each video is created to be a valuable, educational resource to the industry that is under 5 mins in length. In addition to providing easily digestible information to the industry, these videos also help build TRG’s presence on YouTube.

The quantifiable stats from the educational video series is rooted in each video’s performance on YouTube over time. The longer these videos are live, the more they are linked to, shared, and promoted within the platform.
