Campaign Goal
The Trade Risk Guaranty Webinar Series started in Fall 2016 and continues today as bi-monthly presentations for the international trade community. The topic selected for each webinar in the series is intended to answer a frequently asked question or disseminate important developments throughout the trade. Each webinar is free to anyone that wishes to attend and attendees have the opportunity to ask questions to the experts during the presentation.
Since the Marketing team at Trade Risk Guaranty is small, it takes the full resources of the team to put together and conduct the presentations in the webinar series. A key component of the Meredith’s role on the Marketing team is content creation. Therefore she is responsible for a lot of the research and organization for each webinar. Meredith conducts thorough research on the topic, puts together the slides, and designs the graphic visuals for each presentation. She is also responsible for editing the final video, publishing the corresponding blog post, and taking care of the back end SEO through YouTube.
The primary mission of the Trade Risk Guaranty marketing team is to become knowledge leaders in the international trade industry. The goal of TRG Webinar Series is to further this mission by providing valuable, educational resources to the industry. Each presentation focuses on one topic, includes a question and answer section, and is available for reference once the presentation has been completed.

- Researching trending topics within the industry to create a content calendar for the year.
- Allowing flexibility within that content calendar so that timely news -worthy topics can be covered.

- Including a spot for registrants to ask a question on the topic when they sign up.
- Keeping webinar presentation under an hour (30 minutes is ideal) and hosting them at convenient times.
- Editing together a high quality version of the presentation immediately after the live session.
- Making the full presentations available on YouTube for free to promote re-watch and sharing throughout the industry.
- Creating a corresponding blog post for each presentation to increase it’s organic rank.
- Sharing the final presentation throughout the international trade community.
TRG's YouTube Growth
A large goal for the marketing team is to grow Trade Risk Guaranty's YouTube Channel. In order to meet this goal, the team has pushed forward with creating more video content and pushing out CTA's to gain subscribers. The eventual goal of this account is to monetize it so it can be a source of revenue for the company and the department itself.
Over the last year, Trade Risk Guaranty's YouTube channel has grown drastically from 50 subscribers in the end of 2017 to 550 subscribers at the end of 2018.
